DANCE CURRICULUM DELIVERY- AFTER SCHOOL DANCE CLUBS - WORLD DANCE - DANCE COMPETITIONS
FOUNDATION STAGE - KEY STAGE 2
Our Dance students at TWO of the Primary Schools we deliver the dance curriculum to took winning places at local Primary school dance comps.
St Matthews Catholic Primary, Queens Drive & St Cecilias Catholic Infants School in Tuebrook, both took 1ST PLACE at two, seperate local primary school dance competitions, organised by St John Bosco and the Liverpool School Sports Partnership.
The children were selected by the dance teacher for being 'Gifted and Talented' in dance as well as having great listening skills in their weekly classes.
After weeks of dedicated rehearsals and preparation the children certainly didn't disapoint and competed along side other local primary schools to take the winning prize.
The theme of their pieces was a celebration of world dance styles, tying in with the huge range of world dance styles the children had been learning in class.
Their dances showed an array of multi cultural styles, such as African, Bollywood, Latin and Flamenco which must have really impressed the judges.
We've very proud of all the children at both schools and LOVED teaching them their WINNING PERFORMANCE PIECES!
